Senior Analyst, Revenue Recovery (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.

Salary: $66,300–$99,450 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze contractual reimbursement, remittance data, posted payments, and expected reimbursement to identify underpayments and revenue optimization opportunities.
• Communicate with payors, follow up on outstanding underpayments, file appeals, resolve account variances, and ensure timely recovery.
• Identify root causes of underpayments, denials, and delayed payments, collaborating with client teams to address accounts receivable issues.
• Document activities in client host systems, hirify.global IQ, and other tracking systems while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Report trends and findings to leadership, support client and payor escalations, and coordinate with Managed Care, Billing, Coding, Revenue Integrity, and Payor Strategy.
• Complete assigned projects, support team initiatives, and mentor associates as a subject matter expert in revenue recovery and hirify.global IQ prediction rules.

Requirements

• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.
• At least five years of experience in the hospital or physician insurance industry or another revenue cycle environment.
• Proven understanding of revenue cycle operations and identifying underpaid accounts.
• CRCR certification required within nine months of hire.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, customer-service, and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to work across multiple client host systems.
