Maintenance Technician (Quartz Processing)

Location: Randolph, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $31.05–$42.26 per hour, including a 15% night shift differential; base wage $27.00–$36.75 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, and other processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and complete corrective repairs.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Maintain mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and rail equipment.
• Inspect equipment, operate hand and power tools, manage spare parts, and document work orders and repairs in the CMMS.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements, participate in training and emergency drills, and maintain an organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, automation controls, industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems; basic welding skills.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions, lift up to 60 pounds, push or pull up to 100 pounds, and stand for shifts of up to 12 hours. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, a high-visibility vest, a hard hat, and a respirator when required.
