Technology Operations Senior Director (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid

Salary: $143,000–$179,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus and stock incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for Technology Operations in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams while fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Define OKRs and operational metrics, including MTTR, auto-resolution rates, and team efficiency.
• Drive self-service diagnostics, AI-enabled triage, auto-healing, and predictive issue resolution.
• Shape change and release management, incident response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Engineering, and senior leadership teams and deputize for the SVP of Technology during executive forums and major incidents.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, team management, communication, influence, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and observability platforms, including AWS.
• Business acumen and understanding of engineering disciplines for managing business-critical systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on call for key events and major incidents.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sports or experience in regulated industries.
• ITIL, CIM, or PMP certification.
