What you will do

• Manage claims portfolios across lead, follow, and fully delegated books of business.
• Coordinate with Claims Operations and Claims Vendors to establish efficient claims-processing structures and ensure claims data availability.
• Review claims data, identify trends, and provide portfolio-level insights requiring investigation or action.
• Work with Reserving and Underwriting to assess claims performance and support pricing, underwriting appetite, and reserving decisions.
• Engage third-party claims handlers and internal claims teams to improve oversight, service quality, and business planning.
• Act as the main claims contact for the HPS Division and liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience overseeing claims portfolios across multiple insurance lines, including first-party and third-party claims.
• Strong experience in the Lloyd’s market and technical claims handling oversight.
• Experience managing and engaging internal and external parties handling claims on behalf of the business.
• Understanding of reserving philosophy across the individual and collective claims life cycle.
• Experience using analytical techniques to interpret claims data and produce meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication, influencing, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
