Bridgewater Process Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Bridgewater, NJ, United States; regular work on the manufacturing floor is required

What you will do

• Support new product development, process transfers, production trials, qualification, and product launches.
• Industrialize cable products and manufacturing processes involving roll forming, TIG and laser welding, extrusion, annealing, and fiber cable production.
• Analyze process data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements to safety, quality, throughput, cost, scrap, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, materials, and processes on the shop floor in coordination with Operations and Maintenance.
• Support equipment planning, installation, commissioning, validation, preventive maintenance standards, and production readiness.
• Train operators and technical personnel and transfer process knowledge across hirify.global facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial experience in mechanical, materials, metallurgical, or manufacturing areas.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Ability to regularly work on the manufacturing floor, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and occasional kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 lb regularly, up to 25 lb frequently, and up to 45 lb occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with welding, roll forming, extrusion, annealing, metal forming, cable manufacturing, or related processes.
