Relationship Business Banking Specialist (Banking)

Location: Severna Park, Maryland, United States; in-office role

Base salary: $57,750–$96,250 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Acquire and expand consumer and business banking relationships for businesses with less than $2 million in sales revenue.
• Generate leads, conduct appointments inside and outside the branch, and manage referrals through the full client lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Business Banking, Wealth Management, Private Bank, Mortgage, and other ecosystem partners to meet client needs.
• Deliver tailored solutions covering deposits, lending, cash management, payments, investing, and digital banking tools.
• Support branch teams in identifying opportunities, building client loyalty, and increasing share of wallet.
• Follow policies and procedures, manage risk, and support accurate daily branch operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; comparable education, certifications, experience, or military service may be considered.
• Typically less than one year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
• Knowledge of banking products, business acumen, prospecting, selling, customer experience, and effective communication.
• Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
• Additional background checks may be required under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and applicable financial-industry rules.
• Must work in the Severna Park, Maryland branch environment; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
