Senior People Generalist

Location: Onsite at ARR-1, 400 Smoketree Plaza, North Aurora, Illinois, and Hub 1998, Melissa Ln, Aurora, Illinois. Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm. Travel is required.

Salary: $77,775–$100,000 annually, with a full base pay range of $77,775–$129,625 and eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide full-cycle HR support to employees, managers, and regional directors at assigned fulfillment center and hub locations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues, conduct investigations, and partner with People leadership, HR business partners, and Legal.
• Coach managers, provide leadership training, and support employee relations, attendance, progressive discipline, and performance improvement processes.
• Coordinate recruiting events, hourly employee interviews, onboarding, new-hire check-ins, offboarding, and exit interviews.
• Partner with staffing agencies and operations on workforce planning, workers’ compensation, return-to-work processes, retention, and employee engagement.
• Track people metrics, administer employee satisfaction surveys, support employee resource groups, and present at town halls and start-up meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and at least 5 years of HR experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
• SHRM or SPHR certification.
• Understanding of labor-related laws and statutes, with the ability to manage highly confidential information.
• Previous experience in a fulfillment center, warehouse, or manufacturing facility.
• Strong data interpretation, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and MS Office/Excel skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
