TL;DR
Senior ER Consultant (Employee Relations): Leading complex and high-risk employee relations cases across a business area with an accent on UK and Ireland employment law, risk mitigation, and stakeholder advisory. Focus on resolving sensitive cases, mentoring ER team members, using data to improve processes, and managing escalations outside standard procedures.
Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office at the Osterley base in London, UK

What you will do
- Manage complex, sensitive, high-risk, and high-profile employee relations cases.
- Advise people partnering teams and senior leaders on ER approaches, risk mitigation, legal compliance, and best practice.
- Lead escalations and risk calls for cases outside standard processes, balancing legal, reputational, and commercial considerations.
- Develop and mentor ER team members through coaching, case reviews, knowledge sharing, and upskilling.
- Use case data and insights to improve ER processes, policies, and service delivery.
- Build collaborative relationships across HR, legal, Group Risk, and business leadership teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing complex employee relations cases, including sensitive, high-risk, or high-profile matters.
- Strong understanding of UK and Ireland employment law and its practical application in a commercial environment.
- Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders, HR People Partners, legal teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with experience developing others and sharing expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical ability, resilience, and adaptability.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
