Datacenter Facilities Manager

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform for data processing, model training, and production deployment, supported by large-scale compute, storage, networking, and applied AI infrastructure.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations of mission-critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, security, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Manage and develop facilities engineers, technicians, contractors, and service providers, including 24/7 staffing, training, performance, and shift planning.
• Own preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance programs, asset records, work orders, spare-parts inventories, and lifecycle strategies.
• Oversee incident response, operational risk, safety programs, regulatory compliance, root-cause investigations, audits, and emergency preparedness.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, expansions, commissioning, integrated systems testing, operational handover, budgets, and capital projects.
• Monitor vendor performance, operational metrics, energy and water consumption, Power Usage Effectiveness, capacity, reliability, and sustainability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline; equivalent technical education and substantial experience may be considered.
• At least seven years of experience in critical facilities, mission-critical operations, industrial facilities, or a comparable technical environment.
• At least three years of experience leading technical teams, contractors, or service providers.
• Experience managing critical maintenance, operational risk, budgets, vendors, maintenance contracts, and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS and generators, HVAC and chilled-water systems, Building Management Systems, Data Center Infrastructure Management, maintenance management, commissioning, and redundancy principles.
• Fluent English is required; professional French is highly desirable. Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply.

Nice to have

• French electrical authorization under NF C 18-510, such as B0/H0V, B1V, B2V, BR, BC, H1V, H2V, or HC.
• Sauveteur Secouriste du Travail certification, Permis de feu training, or France Chimie/UIC N1 or N2 safety training.
• Uptime Institute critical-facilities certification or a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Experience in hyperscale or colocation data centers, hospitals, power generation, manufacturing, utilities, or other continuously operating facilities.
