Senior Intrusion Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote, CA; West region availability with PST hours required

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity grants, and benefits

Cybersecurity company providing an AI-native platform that protects organizations by detecting and stopping breaches across large-scale distributed systems.

What you will do

• Identify and investigate intrusions in customer networks using Falcon Endpoint data and the broader CrowdStrike product suite.
• Analyze adversary activity and communicate investigation findings to customers during time-sensitive response efforts.
• Participate in active and passive threat hunting focused on identifying threat actors and improving customer protection.
• Research adversaries, improve detection capabilities, build tools, and collaborate with other cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• Must be available for PST working hours in the U.S. West region.
• Demonstrated experience in endpoint security, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or cloud security.
• Strong understanding of operating systems and current and emerging threats.
• Experience with logging platforms such as LogScale, Splunk, or Kibana, including writing queries to identify suspicious activity.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable professional experience, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience correlating investigations across third-party data sources, including IAM and EDR data.
• Experience investigating TTPs across Azure or AWS.
• Experience in a security operations center, incident response, network or host-based intrusion analysis, identity security, or cloud security.
• Published security research or findings through conferences, blogs, articles, or other channels.
