Incident Response Analyst, Senior (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, Washington, District of Columbia, USA; occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.

Salary: $86,800–$198,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and develop measures to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze incidents involving advanced persistent threat and financially motivated actors, including cloud-based threats.
• Work with government staff to suggest and implement incident-response process improvements.
• Collaborate with auditors to address issues in incident-response processes.
• Author clear, robust reports and review team-member submissions for quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of incident-response experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender EDR and knowledge of SOC best practices.
• Experience working directly with clients in a professional manner.
• Bachelor's degree and a senior-level incident-response certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Eligibility for a U.S. government client investigation may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Splunk, GitHub, or Archer.
• Experience reviewing junior analysts' work and providing developmental feedback.
