Security Researcher (Spanish/Portuguese)

Location: USA - Austin, TX

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Collect actionable and timely intelligence on eCrime actors, with a focus on Latam-language threat actors.
• Use engagement skills and OSINT tradecraft to follow leads, identify actors, and track activity across online communities.
• Research current and emerging cyber threats, technical information, tools, and tactics.
• Navigate social media, hidden services, forums, and other cyber threat actor environments.
• Collaborate on analytical reports and threat estimates for customers and stakeholders.
• Apply secure virtual operational tradecraft and practices.

Requirements

• Spanish and Portuguese language capabilities are required.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Practical knowledge of eCrime terminology, tools, tactics, and threat actor groups.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, persistence, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with virtual HUMINT.
• Prior intelligence community, HUMINT, or cyber threat intelligence experience.
