Digital Mock-Up (DMU) Integrator (CATIA/PLM)

Location: On-site in the Mobile Area, Alabama, United States. US citizenship is required. Travel required: 10% domestic and international.

What you will do

• Support PLM development, AS-IS business architecture testing, and capability testing across 3Dx SaaS, Enovia, CATIA V5, CAD Modeler Coexistence, and Multi-View Management.
• Gather technical data and organize High-Level Design Dossiers and G3/G4 gate preparation materials.
• Extract native DMU data from Enovia and CATIA V5, provision datasets, and convert CAD files into JT, SPS, and CGR light-viewer formats.
• Perform DMU quality assurance by comparing New Method, Old DMU, Best-So-Far, cDMU, and Native data, coordinating with design teams to resolve structural and geometry inconsistencies.
• Support new aircraft variant environments, including the A220 Stretch StepX program, and execute manual and semi-automated data transfer workflows.
• Automate engineering workflows, data extraction, checks, reports, and dashboards using Python, Pandas, Google Apps Script, Google Workspace, Selenium, Gemini, and other digital engineering tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Design, Product Design, or Sustainable Technology.
• 3 to 5 years of total experience.
• US citizenship and current work authorization are required; hirify.global does not sponsor visas for US positions unless specified.
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace or G Suite, including Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides, as well as Microsoft Office.
• Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling software, specifically CATIA V5.
• Ability to write reports, specifications, work statements, requirements, technical documents, and other documentation, with strong proofreading and technical writing skills.
• Ability to present information, answer questions about produced documentation, communicate effectively in written and verbal English, and collaborate proactively in a changing work environment.
• Ability to learn and adopt new software tools, digital engineering environments, and internal applications quickly.
• Ability to independently develop, communicate, and recommend process and procedure changes, and to direct and facilitate problem-solving activities through completion.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or minor in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering, or Sustainable Technology.
• Experience with hirify.global digital tools, PLM/PDM environments, 3Dx Enovia, CATIA V5, TAKSY, PASS-SSI, DMU data management, and light-viewer conversion tools including JT, SPS, CGR, Novo Desk, and Laurentides.
• Background in 3D modeling, structural component prototyping, part analysis, or hirify.global cabin, cargo, or structural engineering workflows.
• Scripting experience with Python, Pandas, VBA, CAD macros, Google Apps Script, or web automation frameworks such as Selenium.
• Experience using AI tools such as Google Gemini and Workspace integrations to improve data workflows and research efficiency.
• French, German, or Spanish language skills.
