What you will do

• Build comprehensive knowledge of company products, procedures, panel and lumber grades, lumber math, cuts, yields, and material utilization.
• Learn production scheduling, product costing, budgeting, expense control, and the company business system.
• Supervise activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Develop working knowledge of continuous improvement, efficiency standards, safety, and human resources practices.
• Tour other UFP facilities and customer locations to develop a detailed understanding of operations.
• Complete assigned courses and prepare required reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to work at the Salisbury, North Carolina plant location.
