Associate, Investor Reporting (Commercial Real Estate)

Annual base salary: $59,000–$85,000

What you will do

• Approve system-generated reports, queries, and client deliverables for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to supporting documentation.
• Manage written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding routine and exceptional commercial real estate loan servicing questions.
• Build spreadsheet templates and financial models using Excel formulas, data tables, and macros to analyze loan metrics, cash flows, amortization, and debt or equity calculations.
• Prepare cash remittance reports and other portfolio reporting required by servicing agreements, including collection of servicing fees.
• Research and respond to inquiries from lenders, auditors, rating agencies, and other authorized stakeholders.
• Perform quality control, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with servicing standards, policies, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically at Senior Analyst or Analyst level or an equivalent external role.
• Experience with reconciliations and financial or investor reporting is preferred.
• Experience with CREFC reporting is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including multiple formulas and macros.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, prioritization, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills.
