Location: On-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary: $64.04–$120.27 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze user and system requirements and translate them into software designs and performance expectations.
• Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and enhance complex software applications.
• Develop data queries, database interactions, algorithms, and scalable processing solutions.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers on architecture, integration, and technical trade-offs.
• Develop and execute software component test procedures and maintain technical documentation.
• Improve development processes, coding standards, workflows, and quality-control practices while supporting small team efforts.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required.
• 14 years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, management, or a related discipline; four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute.
• Experience with JIRA, GitLab, Agile/Scrum, Terraform, AWS cloud security, and CI/CD pipelines.
