Undergraduate Co-op Student – R&D Biologics Discovery

What you will do

• Support data curation and analysis for model-informed antibody discovery.
• Build and maintain a traceable historical knowledge base covering targets, molecules, model assumptions, simulation outputs, observed data, and model performance.
• Mine scientific literature and reference sources to create antibody-drug conjugate evidence and model-input datasets.
• Develop data dictionaries, standardized templates, unit-normalization rules, and source-provenance records.
• Perform quality checks, reconcile conflicting sources, document assumptions and data gaps, and prepare visual summaries.
• Compare literature and historical trends with existing models and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• At least one year of study completed before the co-op begins, with continued full-time enrollment after the assignment.
• At least 18 years old and not employed when the co-op starts.
• Preferred academic backgrounds include data science, computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, systems biology, or a combined quantitative and life-science discipline.
• Experience with Excel and at least one data-analysis language or tool such as Python, R, SQL, or visualization software.
• Basic knowledge of biology, pharmacology, or biologics, plus the ability to read scientific literature and perform data quality checks.

Nice to have

• Previous co-op or internship experience.
• Ability to complete two consecutive four-month terms, totaling eight months.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, record keeping, and time management skills.
