Research Assistant (Health Research): Supporting women’s health research through participant communication, data preparation, manuscript adaptation, and grant coordination with an accent on randomized controlled studies and couple sexual response research. Focus on managing questionnaires and consent forms, cleaning research data, meeting publication requirements, and tracking project deadlines.
Location: Hybrid work between remote work and onsite work at the Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre, Hospital Site, Vancouver, Canada
Salary: $28.29–$33.66 CAD per hour

What you will do
- Support participant communication for The Couples’ Desire Study by sending questionnaires and distributing updated consent forms.
- Coordinate the collection of participant mailing addresses for compensation.
- Clean and prepare research data.
- Contribute to a dyadic couple sexual response model study.
- Adapt manuscripts to meet journal submission requirements.
- Monitor grant timelines and prepare required materials.
Requirements
- High school graduation, additional related training, and at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in research-related work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with regular supervisor check-ins and weekly team meetings.
- Commitment to respecting diverse perspectives and developing knowledge and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Canva, Qualtrics, Microsoft Excel, and SPSS.
- Experience with TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, or other digital and social media platforms.
