Field Services Technician (Sample Collection) (Environmental Testing)

Location: Hopkinton, MA, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance and drive to sites across the surrounding service area.

Salary: USD 22–24 per hour

What you will do

• Collect, document, package, and ship environmental samples according to project-specific protocols.
• Support routine and non-routine environmental monitoring and data collection, including work at potentially hazardous sites.
• Assist with sample preparation and on-site analyses for mobile laboratory operations and screening surveys.
• Complete assignment documentation and perform quality control checks.
• Drive a company vehicle to sampling locations and follow company health and safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for potentially hazardous waste facilities, map reading, and navigation.
• DOT Certificate required within 90 days of hire for shipping hazardous chemicals.
