Associate Production Laboratory Technician (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Frederick, Maryland, United States; the posting also lists 12601 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, Maryland.

Base hourly salary: USD $25.73–$32.59 per hour. A target annual bonus may vary by role level.

What you will do

• Produce and package hirify.global reference standards and materials using automated and hands-on methods.
• Operate production equipment including powder fillers, liquid fillers, labeling equipment, glove boxes, autoclaves, pipettes, pumps, biological safety cabinets, and capping machines.
• Prepare test samples, handle chemical and biological materials, and document sampling activities in Oracle ERP and related software.
• Monitor production activities for discrepancies and variations, perform routine mathematical and statistical calculations, and verify production targets.
• Support inventory activities by stocking supplies, dispensing components, and participating in physical inventories.
• Develop foundational mechanical and technical skills, identify routine technical issues, and troubleshoot with guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical science, or four years of related work experience as a substitute.
• Academic training in microbiology or a related life science, including exposure to aseptic techniques and biological materials in controlled or sterile environments; one year of related experience may substitute for the academic training.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment and pass a pulmonary function test while wearing an N95 respirator.
• Ability to work with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens; Hepatitis B immunization or completion of the vaccination series is expected, with the option to decline vaccination while performing the required duties.
• Ability to work onsite in Frederick, Maryland, United States.
