Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Marysville, Ohio, at a manufacturing plant

Salary: $103,700–$122,000 per year, plus eligibility for corporate bonus programs

What you will do

• Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities and act as a liaison between production, maintenance, operations leadership, and corporate engineering.
• Develop equipment mastery, process and packaging standards, troubleshooting guides, training materials, and rapid changeover standards.
• Diagnose technical problems using Fishbone, 5-Why, FMEA, and other root cause analysis tools.
• Lead reliability, continuous improvement, bottleneck reduction, and manufacturing variation-reduction initiatives.
• Partner with Plant Managers and cross-functional teams to improve output, reduce costs, and implement manufacturing improvement plans.
• Support capital project prioritization, production-line standard development, and coaching of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including reliability improvement work.
• Experience leading large-scale capital projects and working with diverse cross-functional groups.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, unit operations, Lean, TPM, Root Cause Analysis, Quick Changeover/SMED, and Process Centerlines.
• Experience with statistics, analytical methods, process measurement and control, and change management.
• Proficiency with PC-based software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
