Weapons Systems Analysis Team Lead

What you will do

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of weapons system analysis activities for Integrated Air and Missile Defense programs.
• Define analytical strategies, performance metrics, schedules, and deliverables aligned with program objectives and customer priorities.
• Coordinate support for live firings, ground tests, simulation exercises, and operational assessments.
• Analyze system performance data and translate findings into technical briefings, executive-level recommendations, and customer deliverables.
• Coordinate technical teams, government customers, warfighters, and leadership while managing risks, requirements, software changes, and milestones.
• Mentor junior analysts and support proposal development, project planning, resource estimation, and capture activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field, plus 10 years of relevant missile defense, program execution, or defense operations experience.
• Experience leading projects, coordinating teams, or managing complex technical efforts.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills, including briefings for senior leaders and customers.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Fire Control analysis for major Missile Defense Systems, including flight tests, ground tests, simulations, and real-world operational assessments.
• Project management experience covering planning, execution, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience with U.S. Government customers, warfighters, and senior defense leadership.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or similar technical analysis and programming tools.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and driving mission-critical objectives.
