Senior Architect (AI)

Location: Full-time, on-site at the Sunnyvale, California headquarters, United States

Base salary: $240,000–$295,000 per year, depending on experience. Equity through stock options.

hirify.global is a security technology company building an autonomous security service that combines autonomous machines, AI-driven software, and security professionals.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the AI-native Signals platform, from edge sensor and device ingestion to cloud processing and customer-facing delivery.
• Design real-time, event-driven, and streaming data pipelines that fuse signals from autonomous machines, robots, and IoT devices.
• Architect AI/ML infrastructure, model-serving layers, feature pipelines, and MLOps capabilities for actionable alerts and automated responses.
• Define standards for data contracts, APIs, observability, security, reliability, and platform availability.
• Partner with Robotics, ML, Product, and Security Operations teams to translate field requirements into scalable platform capabilities.
• Lead architectural reviews, build-vs-buy decisions, vendor due diligence, technical escalations, and mentoring for senior and staff engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a lead architect or principal engineer role.
• Experience architecting large-scale real-time data platforms using streaming, event-driven, or pub/sub architectures such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
• Strong experience with AI/ML systems architecture, model serving, feature pipelines, and MLOps.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, AWS or other cloud infrastructure, and microservices design.
• Experience with IoT, robotics, or edge-device data ingestion is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; strong communication and technical leadership skills.
