Program Director (Radiologic Technology)

Location: Remote, Texas-based, with regular travel to partner sites. Reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel are required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as Program Director of record for the Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility.
• Support curriculum development and ensure didactic content meets accreditor standards.
• Develop clinical playbooks governing supervision, competency progression, and clinical rotation quality.
• Own completion, graduation, ARRT exam pass-rate, and job-placement outcomes, using leading indicators to drive improvements.
• Lead ABHES compliance, annual reporting, substantive-change filings, and accreditation site-visit readiness.
• Build and develop faculty, support employer partnerships as a clinical subject-matter expert, and travel to partner sites for launches, observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits.

Requirements

• Must be based in Texas and able to travel regularly, with travel expected to increase to up to 50% starting in 2027.
• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification and current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
• Prior Program Director experience for an accredited radiography program.
• At least 5 years of clinical radiography experience.
• Familiarity with JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements, regulatory compliance, and related processes.
• Strong data and technical literacy, with the ability to prioritize leading indicators.

• Experience launching an academic program from the ground up.
• Experience partnering with employers or health systems on workforce pipelines.
• Advanced degree or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R).
• Experience in a fast-growing startup or EdTech environment.
