Director, Large Merchant Acceptance UK&I (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead client-centric sales strategies and build strategic relationships with large merchant partners.
• Own a UK&I portfolio that includes EU and GMAC merchants.
• Develop sector expertise and drive cross-functional engagement to progress commercial opportunities.
• Communicate hirify.global's value proposition and seller solutions to enable new payment flows and expand acceptance.
• Maintain accurate reporting in preferred CRM platforms and recommend approaches to grow the business.
• Act as a senior role model for hirify.global's leadership principles while delivering key business targets.

Requirements

• Experience as a results-oriented Account Director with proven influencing, selling, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
• Deep experience in payments, financial services, or fintech.
• Strong expertise in value-added services, data-driven selling, and product sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with executive management.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and geographies in a complex matrixed environment.
• High standards of ethics and integrity, with the ability to prioritize deliverables and execute at pace.
