Software Engineer, Commercial Software (AI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid workplace

Salary: CAD 149,000–220,000 per year, plus equity incentives and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Build the full-stack platform that interfaces with autonomous vehicles and supports truck fleet management.
• Develop reliable, scalable tools and frameworks for autonomous-vehicle development.
• Design and deploy production-quality software for challenging engineering problems.
• Integrate the platform with vehicle systems and automate integrations with customer systems.
• Collaborate with onboard engineering, commercial, design, and multidisciplinary AI teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of industry experience developing production-quality software.
• Proficiency in reading and developing production-quality software.
• Experience with Go or TypeScript.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support other team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern web technologies, distributed systems, data storage and processing, cloud infrastructure, system design, or API-driven and test-driven development.
• Experience in machine learning, self-driving, robotics, or collaboration with machine-learning research teams.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
