TL;DR
Software Developer Co-op (Full-Stack Software): Building production-level features for a Workforce Intelligence platform handling large volumes of data with an accent on frontend and backend development, functional testing, and customer-impacting code. Focus on implementing new features, fixing complex bugs, and collaborating across the software development cycle using technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Scala, Kafka, Cassandra, Docker, and AWS.
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; fixed hybrid model with three days per week in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Salary: CAD 3,600–4,500 per month

What you will do
- Write production-level code that directly impacts customers.
- Implement new product features across the full-stack software solution.
- Fix complex software bugs.
- Collaborate with contributors across all stages of the software development cycle.
Requirements
- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience writing functional tests, such as with Selenium and ScalaTest.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and SQL.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify mistakes and improvements.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as REST, HTML, CSS, JSON, and Angular is advantageous.
