Senior Estimator (Cost Analyst, FM)

Location: 5925 Airport Rd, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 85,000–CAD 100,000 yearly

What you will do

• Build labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor cost models for facility services opportunities.
• Develop pricing strategies for new business, renewals, proposals, bids, and tenders.
• Partner with operations, sales, proposal teams, and leadership to validate staffing plans, productivity assumptions, and service delivery models.
• Evaluate financial risk, contingencies, margins, and historical performance data.
• Improve estimating tools, templates, reporting processes, and pricing efficiency.
• Support presentations, materials studies, method evaluations, and cost recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in estimating, pricing, operations, finance, accounting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in facilities management, janitorial, custodial, food, aviation, security, or other outsourced service environments is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, complex formulas, lookups, and large dataset analysis.
• Experience developing cost models, budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies, business cases, or operational plans.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, operations, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience using RSMeans or similar estimating software.
• Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, bids, or tenders.
