Junior Network Technician (Space Systems)

Location: Hybrid in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain

What you will do

• Install and configure network hardware and communication devices.
• Design and implement virtualized environments.
• Integrate and validate network systems for satellite navigation ground segments.
• Support and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Training or experience in networked IT systems administration or a similar field.
• Knowledge of routing and switching, Linux system administration, VMware virtualization, and network security.
• Experience troubleshooting with traffic analysis tools and working with structured cabling.
• Knowledge of complex IT environments and an interest in networking, systems, and critical infrastructures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cisco, HPE, Stormshield, or Sophos technologies.
• Experience with Ansible, network architecture design, and technical documentation.
• Interest in space systems, mission networks, and critical environments.
