Senior Project Manager (Amazon Connect)

Location: USA; fully remote role with up to 25% travel depending on business needs

Base salary: $120,000–$144,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end project management for Amazon Connect implementations from discovery through client handoff.
• Build project plans, manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee Amazon Connect configuration, contact flows, queues, routing strategies, IVR, and integrations with CRM and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate AI/ML-powered features using Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, and other AWS services.
• Manage analytics, reporting, CI/CD, testing, knowledge transfer, and solution validation across functional, performance, and user acceptance phases.
• Develop reusable implementation assets, improve delivery methodologies, present solutions to clients, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience and 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with contact center technologies, customer experience solutions, and complex technical implementations.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification and experience implementing Amazon Connect.
• Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Experience with IVR, CTI, telephony, CRM platforms, contact center operations, or customer service.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, natural language understanding, speech recognition, Python, Node.js, and infrastructure as code.
