Microsoft Database Administrator (SQL Server)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work arrangement. Eligibility to obtain an EU Personal Security Clearance is required.

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
• Provide second-line support and resolve database incidents, performance, availability, and reliability issues.
• Deploy and maintain database solutions across cloud, on-premises, serverless, containerized, and hybrid environments.
• Perform ETL, data transformation, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and Always On administration.
• Design and maintain Microsoft Business Intelligence and Microsoft Fabric solutions and services.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, reports, and root-cause analyses in line with change-management and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years in a related domain.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate certifications.
• Strong experience with complex distributed Microsoft SQL Server environments, SQL scripting, ETL, performance tuning, SQL Profiler, execution plans, DMVs, and database monitoring tools.
• Experience with Microsoft BI, Microsoft Fabric, Always On deployments, recovery models, backup strategies, virtualized infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies.
• Very good English, minimum B2 level, and eligibility to obtain EU Personal Security Clearance.
