Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer (Azure) (Azure, hybrid infrastructure): Designing, operating, and optimizing Azure-centric and on-premises infrastructure across compute, networking, identity, security, containers, and storage with an accent on reliability, automation, and cost-efficiency. Focus on building Terraform and Bicep environments, managing AKS and virtual desktop platforms, implementing zero-trust controls, and improving disaster recovery and observability.

What you will do
- Design, operate, and optimize Azure and on-premises infrastructure, including virtual machines, Azure Virtual Desktop pools, and scale sets.
- Administer Azure networking and connectivity services, including virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancers, WAF, DNS, and Front Door.
- Manage identity, access, security, containers, and virtualization across Azure AD, Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, AKS, Docker, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Build infrastructure-as-code and automation with Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and scripting.
- Own backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, storage, cost management, and resilience improvements.
- Diagnose complex infrastructure issues, evaluate new Azure services, conduct proof-of-concepts, and participate in on-call support when required.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering.
- Proven experience delivering Azure-based and hybrid architectures covering networking, security, and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Deep Azure expertise across compute, networking, storage, security, and governance; strong Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, VMware/Hyper-V, and Windows/Linux administration skills.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Python or Bash, TCP/IP, VLANs, load balancers, WAF, DNS, CDN/Front Door, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
