Senior Fullstack Engineer, Node.js & React.js (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany. Work from home may be arranged individually, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Design and implement complex features for the web shop.
• Build and extend scalable backend services with clean interfaces and well-defined API contracts.
• Contribute to frontend development with React, focusing on performance and maintainability.
• Implement contract-first APIs and scalable asynchronous communication with RabbitMQ.
• Own features end to end, including testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with ownership of complex engineering work and strong technical judgment.
• Strong experience building and operating scalable services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, HTTP semantics, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
