Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (eMobility)

Location: Berlin, Germany. Hybrid setup with 1–2 days per week in the office and the remaining time remote. Remote work is possible within Germany only.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code and software engineering practices.
• Develop cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, Architects, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve reliability and security, contribute to technical decisions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Several years of experience developing full-stack applications with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Redis, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of clean code principles, software design patterns, secure software development, and performance optimization.
• Fluent English is required as the company language. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
