Contingent Workforce Specialist

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle contingent workforce recruitment from requisition intake through onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define workforce needs, timelines, and candidate requirements.
• Build talent pipelines, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and facilitate hiring decisions.
• Manage staffing vendors and MSP partners, including candidate submissions, escalations, responsiveness, and fulfillment performance.
• Support contingent worker onboarding, extensions, conversions, offboarding, documentation, reporting, and workforce planning.
• Improve recruitment processes and maintain accurate worker data in Workday, VNDLY, and related systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in contingent workforce, volume hiring, agency recruiting, or staffing operations.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and working with staffing agencies or third-party labor providers.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ATS and HR systems; Workday experience is preferred.
• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and contingent workforce governance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global recruitment or contingent workforce programs.
• Experience with Vendor Management Systems, especially VNDLY.
• Recruitment experience in healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, customer service, or technology.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, MSP programs, and contingent labor compliance.
