Salary: $155,000–$210,000 annual base salary

What you will do

  • Develop the overall quality improvement strategy and lead cross-functional adoption and execution.
  • Develop and maintain the business and quality management system to improve operating efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Assess the quality management system, quality plan, and quality organization to establish improvement priorities.
  • Identify customer dissatisfaction drivers, internal failures, and systemic root causes of Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Execute preventive actions to reduce COPQ, waste, process variability, and operational disruptions.
  • Establish KPIs, standard work, training, recurring process audits, and coaching to build organizational quality capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, quality, continuous improvement, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience leading a quality organization in a capital equipment manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Strategy Deployment.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex problems and anticipate operational risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to manage a skilled and diverse staff, communicate effectively, represent the organization, and influence senior managers and customers.
