Sr Manager, Information Architecture (AI)

Location: Titusville, New Jersey, United States of America. Requires up to 10% of international travel.

What you will do

• Design and implement FAIR, AI-ready data assets spanning master, transactional, operational, and analytical data.
• Lead conceptual and logical information modelling for complex supply chain domains.
• Define standards and patterns for metadata, taxonomies, semantic models, ontologies, business glossaries, and context layers.
• Establish shared business definitions, ownership, classifications, mappings, lineage, and reusable information structures.
• Lead ontology and knowledge graph implementation and support AI-assisted data modelling and metadata curation.
• Partner with Data Owners, Data Governance, Data Operations, J&J Technology, and business stakeholders to drive architecture adoption and governed data reuse.

Requirements

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, or regulated data environments.
• In-depth experience in information architecture, data architecture, data modelling, or data management across complex enterprise domains.
• Strong knowledge of FAIR, IDMP, ISO standards, data mesh, domain-driven design, semantic layers, metadata, taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience designing end-to-end data products and working with data catalogues, metadata repositories, business glossaries, ontology tools, semantic layers, or knowledge graph technologies.
• Experience with or familiarity with Alation, Databricks, Neo4j, TopBraid, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BDC, medallion architecture, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, create standards and playbooks, and operate across federated business and technology teams.

Nice to have

• Experience using automation, AI-assisted workflows, or agentic AI for data modelling, metadata curation, semantic modelling, or data quality.
• Experience supporting multi-year transformation, strategy, or technology deployment initiatives.
