What you will do

• Define shared data models, terminology, governance, lineage, and integration patterns for Federal grants and financial data.
• Design data architecture for a secure, scalable platform integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured information.
• Collaborate with pilot agencies and multidisciplinary technical teams through iterative development and user testing.
• Document solutions to support government operation, maintenance, transition, and future expansion.
• Apply Federal security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and data-ownership requirements.

Requirements

• Experience designing enterprise data architectures, canonical models, metadata, and shared vocabularies.
• Experience integrating data from multiple authoritative systems and defining scalable database, API, ingestion, and interoperability patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, quality, retention, stewardship, access, and auditability.
• Familiarity with Linux, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server, Java or .NET, Jenkins, self-hosted Azure DevOps, Kubernetes/Rancher, and open-source AI models.
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret eligibility are required.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with Federal financial management, grants management, payment systems, award oversight, financial reporting, or financial stewardship.
