Sr Manager, Information Architecture (AI)

What you will do

• Lead Information Architecture for Plan & Source domains within Innovative Medicine Supply Chain.
• Design and implement FAIR, AI-ready data assets across master, transactional, operational, and analytical data layers.
• Lead conceptual and logical information modelling, including shared business definitions, ownership, classifications, and system mappings.
• Develop metadata, taxonomy, semantic modelling, ontology, business glossary, lineage, and knowledge graph capabilities.
• Partner with Data Owners, Data Governance, Data Operations, business process owners, and technology teams to deliver scalable and governed data assets.
• Drive architecture reviews, operating model adoption, playbooks, standards, and AI-assisted data management initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in information architecture, data architecture, data modelling, or data management across complex enterprise domains.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, or other regulated data environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAIR principles, data products, metadata management, business glossaries, taxonomies, semantic models, ontologies, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience designing end-to-end data products and working with data catalogues, metadata repositories, semantic layers, lakehouse platforms, or comparable technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data contracts, lineage, access controls, certification, and federated operating models.
• Ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders, simplify complex technical concepts, and lead transformation initiatives.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Alation, Databricks, Neo4j, TopBraid, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BDC, or medallion architecture.
• Knowledge of IDMP, ISO standards, data mesh, and domain-driven design.
• Experience using automation, AI-assisted workflows, or agentic AI for data modelling, metadata curation, semantic modelling, or data quality.
