Automotive Senior Technician (Automotive Repair): Diagnosing and repairing drivability, electrical, brake, suspension, exhaust, fuel, air-conditioning, and computer systems with an accent on technical accuracy, customer communication, and team mentoring. Focus on solving complex vehicle faults, training technicians, and obtaining or maintaining A.S.E. certifications.
Location: 003123 Florence, United States; onsite retail service location
Salary: $18.54–$31.63 per hour, based on a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do
- Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air-conditioning, and computer systems.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specifications.
- Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers without mechanical expertise.
- Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
- Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certification in at least three of the A1–A8 areas within the first two years.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid automobile driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Demonstrated skills in brake and hydraulic systems, and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
- Experience with general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, with reading, writing, and math skills.
- Preferred: three years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, or relevant third-party certifications; A.S.E. certification in at least one A1–A8 area or L1.
