What you will do

• Lead multiple large, complex projects or transformational project workstreams from initiation and approval through delivery.
• Develop business cases, solution designs, requirements, scopes, deliverables, milestones, budgets, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Manage project schedules, financials, forecasts, actuals, contracts, sourcing, resources, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate diverse internal and external teams and communicate project status with stakeholders up to senior leadership.
• Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training, coaching, and work direction to project team members.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in operations, technology, finance, or a comparable function.
• At least 10 years of experience in project management and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience facilitating, training, leading, influencing, and adapting to change.
• Experience directing diverse or distributed work teams and applying project planning and business-need justification methodologies.
• Understanding of core business processes and industry trends.

Nice to have

• Construction experience, including design, installation, and field-team coordination.
• Permitting experience within a metropolitan area.
• Utility distribution, utility battery, or grid innovation experience.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Vendor and contract management experience.
