Automotive Repair Specialist 1 (Automotive)

Location: South Portland, Maine, United States; onsite at 415 Maine Mall Road. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Hourly rate: $24.60–$36.90.

What you will do

• Diagnose and complete mechanical and cosmetic repairs across vehicle systems.
• Inspect vehicles against hirify.global Quality Standards and perform state inspections where required.
• Manage repair orders and maintain accurate labor, parts, and billing records.
• Use proprietary and universal software systems to support repair operations.
• Maintain an organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards and safety protocols.
• Provide functional expertise and support to associates and managers across the store.

Requirements

• Complete hirify.global New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training for Hourly Associates.
• Read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for record-keeping.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with customers.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods in office and outdoor environments.
• Follow uniform, Environmental, Health and Safety, and workplace cleanliness requirements.
• Maintain applicable ASE certifications in steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, engine repair, manual drivetrains, engine performance, and automatic transmissions where required by law.
