Automotive Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

Location: 4191 N 26th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States; onsite position at a new location.

Salary: Up to $55 per hour, plus team performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles for customers.
• Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools, programming scan tools, and advanced aftermarket equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians and the service department to resolve concerns and meet deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Communicate customer concerns and repair findings clearly.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift or move over 100 pounds occasionally and work in tight spaces or beneath raised vehicles.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, use hand tools, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and navigate a computer.
• ASE certification is preferred, or a clear plan to obtain it.
