Advanced Industrial Engineer - Automation & Technology Development

Location: Venice, Italy — Office/Site only

Salary: €36,000–€55,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Define and enhance manufacturing technologies for transformer production processes from winding through final assembly.
• Evaluate automation and technology concepts to improve productivity, quality, and process robustness.
• Promote cross-site technology standardization and transfer best practices across the Cluster MPT network.
• Identify equipment and automation requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the CapEx portfolio.
• Support RFI/RFQ activities and collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering stakeholders to select suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of professional experience in manufacturing technology, production engineering, or equipment engineering.
• Experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy industry is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in Italian and English is required.
• Ability to evaluate investment opportunities through economic and financial analysis and apply project management practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and change leadership skills.
