Safety Engineer EHS / RSPP (AI)

Location: Treviso, Italy; occasional travel required, approximately 20% of the time. Relocation is not available.

Salary: €51,200–€70,400 per year.

What you will do

• Support Environmental, Health and Safety programs across R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with EHS codes, standards, regulations, and Italian legislation, serving as a liaison with regulatory authorities.
• Conduct EHS training for employees and management.
• Investigate EHS incidents, drive corrective actions to completion, and provide management updates and escalations.
• Collaborate with site management, EHS staff, and cross-functional stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage EHS consultants and contractors, including scopes of work, projects, budgets, and evaluation of results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics engineering, or comparable education.
• Italian certificate as an occupational safety engineer (RSPP) required.
• At least five years of professional EHS experience in comparable R&D or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of EHS legislation and implementation in Italy, including general EHS auditing and corrective-action recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in an international business environment, with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian required. Experience using AI technologies and tools to improve decision-making, automate workflows, and increase productivity is also required.
