Head of Compliance (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Own clinical and healthcare regulatory compliance for hirify.global’s US clinical service.
• Build a compliance framework and maturity model based on the OIG’s seven pillars.
• Maintain state-by-state positions covering clinician licensure, credentialing, corporate practice of medicine, professional corporation structures, and facility permissions.
• Operate regulatory readiness, inspection preparation, evidence management, and reporting processes for notifiable clinical events.
• Review compliance with consent, clinical documentation, prescribing, record retention, and scope-of-practice requirements.
• Build and lead the US compliance function, including direct reports and external counsel or consultants.

Requirements

• At least five years of healthcare regulatory compliance experience, including work with a multi-state US provider or clinical service.
• Experience preparing organizations for regulatory inspections, accreditation surveys, or state audits and closing resulting findings.
• Working knowledge of corporate practice of medicine restrictions and professional corporation structures across multiple states.
• Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining clinical policies in a regulated setting.
• Ability to make clear cleared-or-not-cleared decisions, document reasoning, and identify residual risk.
• Strong written communication skills for documents relied upon by internal functions and external parties.

Nice to have

• Certified in Healthcare Compliance or an equivalent professional certification.
• Advanced degree in law, health administration, public health, or nursing.
• Experience with quality management systems and the interface between clinical compliance and device regulatory obligations.
• Experience in a high-growth health-technology environment or with telehealth and multi-state virtual care compliance.
