Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React)

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship and an active Department of Treasury MBI are required

What you will do

• Modernize legacy enterprise systems by decomposing monoliths, migrating legacy databases, and implementing microservices or modular architectures.
• Design responsive React interfaces with Redux and transform legacy server-rendered views or desktop applications into modern web experiences.
• Build secure, high-throughput REST services with Java and Spring Boot, including high-volume Spring Batch data pipelines.
• Model and migrate enterprise data using JPA, Hibernate, Oracle DB, and optimized SQL.
• Develop automated unit, integration, mock, and end-to-end testing with JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library, and Selenium.
• Automate containerized deployments across AWS and OpenShift using GitHub Actions, while applying AI-assisted tools to refactor legacy code and optimize queries.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of professional experience in enterprise software engineering, application modernization, and legacy code transformation.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Redux, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with JPA, Hibernate, Oracle DB, SQL optimization, stored-procedure migration, and H2 for in-memory testing.
• Advanced experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library, and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with AWS, OpenShift, Docker, GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Department of Treasury MBI.

Nice to have

• Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath or Microsoft PowerApps.
