What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate electron beam tools and experimental benches.
• Develop and run experiments to characterize systems, mitigate technical risks, and improve performance and reliability.
• Analyze system problems, perform diagnostics, and deliver practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams and communicate with customers and vendors, including up to 10% travel.
• Develop training materials, troubleshooting procedures, and Best Known Methods.
• Coordinate tool schedules and train users on equipment operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Materials, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with system-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and calibration of scanning electron microscopes such as SEMs.
• Fundamental knowledge of electron optics, surface science, and imaging.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to plan and drive technical work through resolution.
• Minimum qualification: bachelor's degree and zero years of related work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with electron optics simulation tools such as MEBS, OPERA, ANSYS, or COMSOL.
• Scripting experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Semiconductor capital equipment experience.
