Customer Success Intern (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support customers and accountant partners through live chat, email, and phone.
• Troubleshoot customer, accountant, and product issues, documenting critical bugs for Product and Engineering.
• Guide customers through onboarding and follow up with prospective users who have not completed sign-up.
• Identify feedback trends and provide actionable insights to improve customer experience and retention.
• Create help-centre content and develop expertise in UK tax processes and product features.
• Track performance data and support quarterly reporting with the Operations team.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing support role across live chat, email, or phone.
• Clear, empathetic communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax topics accessibly.
• Confidence using multiple platforms such as Intercom, Zendesk, Slack, or Notion.
• Analytical troubleshooting skills and experience escalating issues with appropriate context.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, Product, or Engineering teams.
• Confidence using Google Sheets or Excel for basic analysis and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or a seasonal environment.
• Experience contributing to help-centre content.
• Multilingual skills.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools.
