TL;DR
AI Architect (AI/LLM): Designing and building autonomous AI systems with persistent state, memory, agent reasoning, backend services, and distributed workers with an accent on agent architecture, model selection, and scalable system design. Focus on building multi-agent capabilities, managing long-term context, integrating tools and browser environments, and balancing model quality with cost.
Location: Remote from the USA or Israel

Engineering recruitment partner supporting technology companies in building engineering teams; this role is for a customer operating in stealth.
What you will do
- Design and build autonomous AI agents with persistent state, memory, planning, reasoning, and decision-making capabilities.
- Develop behavioral and personality models, long-term context management, tool use, dynamic tool selection, and browser or environment interaction.
- Build systems for autonomous data exploration and extraction.
- Design distributed systems that run many agents and workers, including monitoring, evaluation, and simulation.
- Select AI models for specific tasks while balancing quality and cost.
- Own the platform architecture and technical direction while guiding engineers through technical decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML, including hands-on design of AI agents and agent-based systems.
- Deep knowledge of LLMs, model selection, memory, retrieval, and context management.
- Strong backend and system design skills; TypeScript/Node.js or Python preferred.
- Experience with distributed and asynchronous systems, message queues, caching, NoSQL databases, and vector databases.
- Experience with AWS, container orchestration such as Kubernetes or Fargate, and virtual machines.
- Fluent English at B2 level and availability to work remotely from the USA or Israel.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-agent systems, computer-use or browser agents, and behavioral modeling.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, MCP, and API integrations with customer systems.
- Experience with Next.js.
- Background in OSINT, intelligence, or cybersecurity.
